Treasurer Wayne Swann announced this year’s Federal Budget on 12 May 2009, which reflected the difficult economic times we are facing. Many of the measures are focused on relieving household stress with pensioners, families and carers in particular to benefit from many of the changes. Here we provide detail on some of the key announcements.
